I've booked my appointment, how do I prepare for the appointment?
We are looking forward to servicing you at Xotic Locs! To prepare is easy. My Loc clients please have your previous style removed. For clients with loose hair, if it was in a previous style have it removed, detangled and be shampoo ready. If you need us to remove the previous style, you must notify us by selecting this option upon booking this appointment. There is an additional $65 take out fee for this service. If your style had extensions like braids the fee is $150. In the event the style is still in, and this service wasn't scheduled it is in the discretion of the stylist depending upon their schedule to complete the service you may have to reschedule, therefore, your deposit will be forfeited.
Can I shampoo my locs after my install?
No! This process is a journey. If you shampoo your locs or spray them with water and things that are out on social media you risk reverting the process of them Locing. At the end of every install prepare to book your first maintenance in 4 weeks. Doing this is recommended because our books fill up very quickly.
Does Xotic Locs offer Loc Extensions?
Yes! We offer human hair permanent loc extensions. You can also purchase top quality handmade locs at Xotic Locs to be installed by us or anywhere. To book an install a consultation is required. We will discuss the process, answer your questions, and together decide with our professional recommendation the perfect size according to your hair texture. Booking is easy as a click of the button. On the home page, click "Book Now", once on the site, select "Installation consultation", select your date and time, and pay your deposit.
I've booked my Install Consultation, how do I prepare for the appointment?
It's easy! Simply come with your hair in it's natural state meaning loose, not blown dry, not in braids, but shampoo'd and air dried.
Does Xotic Locs off Wick Locs or Combining Loc services?
Yes! Just book an "Installation Consultation" on the Home page.
I'm running a little late. Can I still come to my appointment?
Xotic Locs gives each of our clients a 15 minute grace period to make their appointment. After 15 minutes, the client has then missed their appointment. It's up to the discretion of the Loctician/Natural Specialist if the service can be completed according to their schedule.
Why do I need a credit card on file and pay a deposit to schedule an appointment?
Every appointment and client is valuable. In the event of an appointment being made and the client does not cancel within 48 hours or does not show up another valuable client could have had that slot. Your time and our are very valuable. We book our slots at least 4 weeks in advance, a slot to be held for such a length of time and then don't show or call is disrespectful. If Xotic Locs has to cancel your appointment, it's an emergency, we're respectful of your time so please respect ours. You will be charged a $50 no show appointment fee for your appointment, this must be paid prior to booking your next service.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We have a strictly enforced cancellation policy for all services. The booking service sends reminders weekly up until 48 hours giving you the option to reschedule if needed. "No Shows" are responsible for a $50 fee. Late cancellations will also incur a $50 fee. These fees must be paid prior to rescheduling an appointment with Xotic Locs. Your appointment is SO valuable and another guest would have loved the opportunity to have had it if it were cancelled in an adequate time. We appreciate your time, understanding, courtesy, and your business.
Are children and guest allowed?
No. Unfortunately children nor guest are not allowed during the service as we provide a place of comfort and relaxation. This appointment is most clients self care time, we provide an experience not just a service and don't want any interruptions to disturb their time.
Please bring/use earbuds of some sort during your appointment to enjoy watching or listening to entertainment, or on your devices.
